THE CHALLENGE
Choose a work-horse typeface and create a booklet to showcase everything about it. Research the typeface family, the designer, the history, and create a concept or theme
that showcases the typeface in an interesting way.
THE SOLUTION
This was one of my first typography projects and really opened my eyes to every detail of a typeface.
Krub was the typeface of choice, it is a modern sans serif font with traditional ties. The tie of both comes from using modern Thai font elements as well as metal-era font elements. I kept the book classy with colour and played around with weights and scale of the type to create movement and interest on each page.
