An afternoon exploring sights, sounds, and smells of Tsawwassen was the best way to gather inspiration for this project. From the soaring eagles, driftwood lined beaches and busy ferry ports Tsawwassen had so much to show. The ideas started flowing for the banner as I explored and I put it to paper right when I got home and began the design process.

I highlighted the things in the community that residents and visitors could relate with. The logs under the Tsawwassen text are representational of the Tsawwassen Mills mall sign that that is a real hub for everyone.

The colours were strategically chosen to stand out behind a busy forested background, as there are many trees lining the roads and in the city centre.
